The brand already had one production model Twike 3, which somehow did not find love among customers. Maybe the appearance or low speed of movement - in general, only 1100 copies were sold in total.

An aluminum frame and a plastic body - all this fits into dimensions 3325x1540x1210 mm. Curb weight - 430-500 kg. There will be several modifications, therefore, such a difference in weight. Velomobile Twike 5 is designed for two passengers. There's even a 300-liter luggage compartment.
How Velomobile Twike 5 works
The principle of operation is simple. There is a generator to which a pedal drive and brake calipers are connected. All received energy is accumulated on batteries. And those, in turn, drive an electric motor mounted on the rear axle.
The buyer chooses the battery capacity for the Twike 5 velomobile. The price directly depends on the capacity - 15, 20, 25 or 30 kilowatts per hour. The power reserve depends on the capacity - 250, 330, 415 and 500 kilometers. By the way, the charge can be carried out not only from the pedal drive. You can, for example, just charge the batteries from the mains.
Twike 5 has only two bad moments. Firstly, there are no airbags on the velomobile. That is, at a speed of over 100 kilometers per hour, transport turns into a death capsule. Second, buyers may not like the price. For Twike 5, the manufacturer wants from 40 to 50 thousand Euros.
