Smartwatches stopped being a geek’s toy a while ago: people buy them so they do not miss calls, to count steps, to track sleep and to avoid pulling out their phone for every notification. AliExpress is one of the busiest marketplaces for the category, and sales figures show clearly which models people really choose. We picked eight watches and bands with high ratings and thousands of orders, from budget options to models from Xiaomi and Amazfit.

How we chose
We included products with at least 95% positive reviews and a large number of sales. We ignored cases, straps and charging cables, although by order count they often outsell the watches themselves. Specifications come from seller descriptions, and prices are as of 25 October and may vary with colour, version and promotions.
Check two things before you buy. First, compatibility with your phone: most models work with both Android and iPhone, but the feature set on iOS can be more modest. Second, the language of the interface and the app. Global versions of Xiaomi and Amazfit rarely have problems here, while with lesser-known brands it is worth reading the reviews.
Budget watches with calls
LAXASFIT: the most popular in the roundup
LAXASFIT watches cost less than most fitness bands, yet according to the seller they have a full touchscreen and Bluetooth calls: you can answer a call from your wrist as long as your phone is nearby. The model suits a first smartwatch or a gift when you do not want to spend much. Thousands of units sold suggest it covers the basics well: time, notifications, steps and calls.

Zeblaze Btalk 3 Plus
Zeblaze is one of the best-known budget watch brands on AliExpress, and the Btalk 3 Plus is its bestseller. The model has a 1.39-inch colour HD display, voice calls and fitness tracking. These are watches for people who want calls from the wrist and basic fitness features without paying for a flagship. It is best to buy from the brand’s official store, and the link below leads there.

COLMI P86 with an AMOLED screen
The COLMI P86 is interesting mainly for its screen: the 1.93-inch AMOLED gives deep blacks and good legibility. The seller lists Bluetooth calls and IP68 protection, so the watch will survive rain and hand washing. A large display is handy if you often read notifications on your wrist.

Mid-range
Zeblaze VIBE 8 with a built-in torch
The VIBE 8 stands out for an unusual detail: there is a torch built into the case. It comes in handy for finding your keys in a dark stairwell or lighting up a door lock. Otherwise the feature set is familiar: a 1.43-inch AMOLED display, voice calls and a heart rate sensor. The seller also mentions blood pressure measurement, but data like that from a budget watch should be treated as a rough guide, not a medical reading.

Zeblaze Stratos 4 Pro: a rugged GPS watch
The seller calls the Stratos 4 Pro the brand’s flagship for 2026. It is a rugged watch with an AMOLED screen, built-in GPS, map downloads, a dual-colour torch and storage for music. That combination is usually found on noticeably more expensive outdoor models. If you run without your phone, go hiking or cycle, built-in GPS and offline maps will be more useful than any other feature.

Big-brand models
Xiaomi Smart Band 10 Pro
The Mi Band line remains the benchmark for fitness bands, and the Pro version comes close to a full smartwatch. According to the listing, the global Smart Band 10 Pro has a 1.74-inch display and blood oxygen measurement. The band is light, so it is comfortable to wear at night for sleep tracking.

Redmi Watch 6 Active
The Redmi Watch 6 Active is a middle ground between a band and a watch. The global version has a 1.85-inch AMOLED display, up to 18 days of battery life, Bluetooth calls, round-the-clock health monitoring and 5ATM water resistance. That last point means you can swim in a pool with it. A week and a half without charging matters more to many people than any other feature.

Amazfit Balance 46 mm
This is the most expensive model in the roundup and the only one from the official Amazfit store. The Balance 46 mm has dual-band GPS, more than 150 sports modes and a Sleep Coach function that analyses your sleep and gives recommendations. Dual-band GPS fixes your position more accurately among tall buildings in a city and in forests. It is the choice for anyone serious about sport who wants accurate workout statistics.

Which watch to choose
- Just notifications and calls for minimal money: LAXASFIT or Zeblaze Btalk 3 Plus.
- A bright screen matters: COLMI P86 or Zeblaze VIBE 8 with AMOLED displays.
- Hiking, running without a phone and navigation: Zeblaze Stratos 4 Pro with GPS and maps.
- Sleep, steps and long battery life in a light body: Xiaomi Smart Band 10 Pro or Redmi Watch 6 Active.
- Serious training and accurate GPS: Amazfit Balance.
One practical note. Readings such as blood pressure or blood oxygen are useful on any budget watch for spotting a trend, but they do not replace a blood pressure monitor or a pulse oximeter. If your health calls for exact numbers, use medical devices and keep the watch for steps, sleep and notifications.
