Studio Trigger, known for Little Witch Academia and Promare, has taken on creating an anime series based on the game Cyberpunk. It is announced to have 10 episodes, each up to 30 minutes long. The series will be titled «Cyberpunk: Edgerunners». It will be presented on Netflix. The anime is expected to closely follow the storyline of the game Cyberpunk 2077 (CD Projekt Red).

There is already a trailer on Netflix. You can watch it below. The three-minute clip vividly conveys the atmosphere of the game. New characters not present in the game may appear. The dystopian world is depicted in all its colors in the video. Given the constant shootouts and clashes where gangs fight corporations, the anime series will have few equals in scenes of violence.
