The fantastic family comedy Wednesday caught viewers off guard. It seemed like a children’s series. But no. This is for adults. Who love detective stories in the fantasy genre. The director managed to create the impossible. Namely, to keep viewers glued to the TV screen for a full 8 episodes.
Wednesday – A Successful Series About the Addams Family
The beginning of the first episode is interesting. But the episode itself is quite dull and does not evoke a desire to watch the continuation. But just watch the second episode. That’s it. You can’t tear yourself away from the screen. A certain magnetism. Where all participants of this wonderful show called Wednesday are under suspicion.
What is worth mentioning is the Nevermore Academy. It’s clear that everyone put in effort. The director, the editor, and the artists. After Nevermore, Hogwarts from Harry Potter seems dull and unrealistic. Not to mention the students. They don’t wave magic wands or speak spells. Everything happens instantly, with just the power of thought.
The cast is good, as for a comedy. The characters themselves clearly demonstrate their genre. Funny faces and clothes – we will laugh. Gloomy faces – it radiates cold. The series Wednesday is worth watching at least once for fantasy lovers. Whether to keep it in your video library or delete it is up to the viewer individually.
