Types of 3D Printers

Available devices on the market are generally divided into two basic categories – entry-level and professional. The difference lies in the precision of the produced three-dimensional model. Entry-level equipment is often called children’s. It is purchased for entertainment. Where a child or adult simply creates a simple object (toy) on a computer and reproduces it in real size on the device.

Professional equipment differs in manufacturing accuracy (from millimeters to microns). The more precisely the device
