Fans of the brand are disappointed by the lack of information about the Canon EOS R7 and Canon EOS R6 Mark II cameras. These are the models everyone expected to see on the market in 2022. Notably, there is no mention of them even on Canon’s official website.
The series of three cameras—Canon EOS R, Rp, and M50 Mark II—are full-frame solutions aimed at three segments: Premium, semi-professional, and amateur. The manufacturer will focus all its attention on them. A new telephoto lens with an F/2.0 aperture and a 130mm focus length has even been patented for them. It is expected that we will get a highly compact lens with the most demanded technical specifications.

This is related to actions by competitors from Nikon, who are actively promoting their series of cameras marked with “Z”. It seems that this year will see a serious battle of titans for consumers.
