The rise in Bitcoin’s value has revitalized the Changetip service, which suspended operations in 2016 due to high fees. In hopes of finding cryptocurrency reserves, former owners are trying to regain access to forgotten accounts.
Recall that in November last year, when the payment system decided to shut down, the market value of Bitcoin was estimated at $750. The twentyfold increase in the cryptocurrency’s value prompted users to return to their vaults. Experts note that social networks are flooded with positive reviews of the Changetip payment service, which gifted its customers and allowed them to become wealthier.
Changetip Users Recover Forgotten Bitcoins
To restore access to their Changetip accounts, users will need to log in through social media accounts: Reddit, Facebook, and Twitter; otherwise, recovering the forgotten bitcoins will not be possible.
The only negative mentioned in the media is the inflated fees charged by the payment system. Apparently, owners also decided to profit from the cryptocurrency’s growth by overcharging their users. Financial experts assure the public that high transaction costs are not unique to Changetip. Transferring bitcoins between wallets is expensive in other payment systems as well, and there is currently no alternative solution.
