The Redmi 12C can be purchased in black, blue, purple, and green. Currently, the new device is available with Chinese firmware (supports only Chinese and English languages). There are also restrictions on communication standards – they include:

- TDD-LTE B34/38/39/40/41(120 MHz).
- FDD-LTE B1/3/5/8.
