The South Korean brand seems to have some issues with innovation. Once again, we see Samsung trying to “outdo” Chinese Xiaomi. We see through the lens of Xiaomi-like design, only with a higher price tag.

The declared technical specifications are relevant for any market. This is clearly not a flagship. But a mid-range smartphone that will interest many buyers. Only, compared to Xiaomi phones, the Samsung Galaxy M53 5G has a very high price. It’s clear that Samsung is the number 1 brand. But in terms of warranty commitments and the speed of firmware updates, Samsung has long ceased to be a leader in this segment.
Fortunately, Samsung has abandoned the idea of developing its own operating system for smartphones. Android 12 is much better. And this is a pleasant moment for buyers who prefer Korean brands over Chinese brands.
