The biggest sale of the year on AliExpress is getting close, and from past years the best deals go not to whoever opens the app first on 11 November, but to those who prepared a couple of weeks ahead. Here is when 11.11 starts in 2026, how coupons work and what is worth looking at now.

When 11.11 starts in 2026
AliExpress usually publishes the official schedule closer to the start, so for now we are going by deal-tracking sites and last year’s pattern. It looks like this:
- Warm-up, roughly 8 to 10 November. You can already add items to your basket and wishlist and collect coupons, but you can’t yet pay for orders at the reduced price.
- Start, 11 November. The biggest discounts and limited coupons usually land in the first hours. Keep in mind that AliExpress usually counts down on Pacific time: if the start falls on midnight as before, in the UK that will be 08:00 GMT on 11 November.
- Running until 19 November. Some services give this as the end date. Discounts usually get more modest towards the end of the sale, and popular items sell out.
Black Friday follows right after 11.11 (the Friday itself falls on 27 November this year), and at the start of November AliExpress traditionally runs a warm-up promotion for Choice products. So if you miss something on the 11th, there is almost certainly a second chance.
How discounts and coupons work
A discount on AliExpress is almost never just one. The final price is made up of several layers, and that is the whole point of preparing.
- Seller discount. The crossed-out price in the listing. Treat it with scepticism: some stores raise the price a couple of weeks before the sale so the percentage looks more impressive.
- Store coupons. They only work in that particular store. You claim them on the store page or get them after a purchase.
- AliExpress coupons and promo codes. They work in all stores above a certain order value. For 11.11 they are released in several waves, and the best ones go within minutes.
- Coins. They are earned by daily check-ins in the app and then exchanged for small coupons. If you start collecting now, a noticeable amount will build up by November.
During 11.11, seller coupons, platform promo codes and coins can usually be combined in one order. That is why it is often better to put several items from the same store in your basket than to buy them separately.
What to do right now
- Make a list and add it to your wishlist. That way you can see how prices change, and you won’t be hunting for products at random on launch day, when the app runs slowly.
- Write down current prices. A screenshot will do. If a “60% discount” on 11 November turns out to cost more than today, you will spot it at once.
- Check the store. Baseus, UGREEN, Xiaomi and other big brands have official stores. Similar names such as “Baseus Global Shop” don’t always mean the original.
- Look for the Choice badge. Such items usually arrive faster and are easier to return.
- Don’t wait if the price is already good. Right now, on 14 to 16 October, the Winter Offers promotion is running, and on some popular electronics the discounts are already comparable to sale prices.
What to look at: chargers and power banks
Before winter, this is arguably the most practical category. A good GaN charger replaces two or three old power bricks, and a high-capacity power bank helps on the road.

A compact 100 W mains charger with a USB-C port. That much power is enough not only for a smartphone but for most laptops that charge over USB-C. The model is new, but it has already collected more than nine thousand orders.

Xiaomi MIJIA T300 electric toothbrush
One of the cheapest sonic toothbrushes from Xiaomi. It has IPX7 protection, so you can safely rinse it under the tap. It currently costs three times less than the crossed-out price, and this is exactly the kind of item where there is little point waiting for 11.11.

In short
The main sale is expected from 11 to 19 November, and the best hours will be on the first day. Collect coins and coupons in advance, save products to your wishlist and write down prices so you can tell real discounts from invented ones. And if the item you need is already on sale at a good price, as many chargers and power banks are during Winter Offers, there is no point risking that it gets more expensive or sells out by 11.11.
We will follow the sale and update this article when AliExpress announces the official schedule and promo codes.
