AliExpress’s November sale has been running since 1 November, but the best days are still ahead. Wednesday 11 November is the main day of the event, and on 11 and 12 November the promo codes with the biggest discounts return. We have gathered what is known about timing and promo code tiers from several specialist sites, how to avoid missing a discount during peak hours, and which popular items are worth adding to your basket in advance.

Sale dates
According to AndroidPIMP, the global 11.11 sale runs from 1 to 18 November, ending at 23:59 Pacific time. In the UK that is 07:59 on the morning of 19 November. In Germany, France, the Netherlands and Italy the sale runs from 1 to 18 November on Central European time. Germany’s DealDoktor and the BudgetLightForum forum also give 1 to 18 November.
The key dates named by the sources:
- 1 November: the sale starts.
- 11 November: the main day of the event.
- 11 and 12 November: the $100 and $120 promo codes return.
- 18 November: the last day of 11.11.
- 19 November to 3 December: the Black Friday and Cyber Monday sale, according to BudgetLightForum. Black Friday itself falls on 27 November.
Promo code tiers
The 11.11 promo codes work as a ladder: the bigger the order, the bigger the discount. For the global version of the site, BudgetLightForum lists these thresholds in dollars:
- $3 off orders of $18 or more;
- $8 off $45;
- $13 off $79;
- $24 off $139;
- $40 off $229;
- $60 off $349;
- $80 off $469.
On 11 and 12 November only, two more tiers are added: $100 off orders of $500 or more and $120 off $600. DealDoktor gives the same ladder in euros for Germany and also writes that the largest codes will work again on 11 and 12 November. The actual codes differ from site to site, so look for them in the coupons section of the AliExpress app or on trusted voucher sites.
Rules people often forget
One promo code per order. Two promo codes in one order will not work, but they can be combined with coupons from a specific shop if the seller has issued them. This rule is confirmed by both BudgetLightForum and the Russian-language site mysku.
The number of codes is limited. Both DealDoktor and BudgetLightForum warn that codes have an activation limit. If a code says it has run out, the forum advises trying an alternative code of the same tier or trying again in a few hours. AndroidPIMP notes that limits are topped up on the 11th and 30th of the month, which means codes should reappear on 11 November.
The threshold is based on the value of the goods. DealDoktor clarifies that promo codes are tied to the value of the items in the order. If the total after the seller’s discount falls below the threshold, the code will not apply, so check the total before paying.
How to prepare for 11 November
- Build your basket in advance. At peak hours pages load more slowly, and popular items at the sale price sell out.
- Adjust the total to the nearest threshold. If you are a little short of the next tier, it pays to add a small item you need rather than check out with a smaller promo code.
- Split a big basket. Since there is one promo code per order, it can sometimes be better to place two orders, each aimed at its own threshold.
- Compare the price with last week. The crossed-out price on the page is not always the real one. If an item has been sitting in your wishlist for a while, you will see how much cheaper it really got.
- Do not leave holiday gifts too late. Order Christmas presents in November so the parcel has time to arrive.
