Based on their own developments, Dunu is not afraid to experiment. They have released the first headphones in their catalog, the Dunu DM-480. The housing is made exclusively using 3D printing technology. Thanks to this approach, an optimal and ergonomic shape of the case was achieved. During development, a volumetric database of scanned ear shapes was used. This was done to optimize the shell thickness and wall strength. The case itself is made of transparent biocompatible hypoallergenic resin, allowing you to see the “inner workings” of the product.
Dunu DM-480 – portable in-ear headphones
Dual 8-millimeter titanium isobaric and dynamic drivers increase sensitivity, reduce harmonic distortions, add detail to the sound, expand the dynamic range, and improve the linearity of low and high frequencies.
The headphones are produced in two unconventional colors – Dusky Storm and Crimson Twilight. The first color is dark blue, closer to black, and the second is closer to orange.
Connection is made via a four-core cable made of silver-plated oxygen-free copper with a gold-plated TRS mini-jack connector 3.5 mm on the device side and a two-pin 0.78 mm connector on the headphones side. The cable is equipped with a small clip for untangling and a metal splitter.
The package includes five pairs of additional interchangeable ear tips of different sizes, a durable carrying case with two pockets, and a cable clip.
The variety of additional ear tips creates a comfortable fit. The removable cable can always be replaced if issues arise or for convenience. It is also worth noting that the headphones have passed Hi-Res certification, as indicated on the packaging.
