That is, completely abandon Google services. The statement does not mention the price. It turns out that the leader of the Asian market, Huawei, is willing to provide its services for free.

Huawei has already begun testing HarmonyOS 2.0 and is ready to provide resources to its competitors. It is already hard to call this the last call for Google. And it is clear that HarmonyOS 2.0 will reach the level of Google within the next year.

Huawei’s decision is definitely positive for mobile device manufacturers. And even for app and game developers. However, it is unclear how the implementation of HarmonyOS 2.0 in smartphones and tablets will turn out. The problem with Chinese programs is not espionage but advertising. And it would be undesirable for other companies to adopt this unpleasant user experience.

What are Huawei’s prospects?

It has long been clear that US sanctions are not a hindrance for the Chinese. It closely resembles the situation with Russia. When instead of a market decline, the government began to boost domestic production. Regarding Huawei, the company has started mastering 3nm technology. Work is actively underway on creating the new Kirin 9010 processor. And even restrictions on access to the American IT market do not hinder the Chinese.

The trade war between China and the US has led many countries, which are not pleased with American dirty politics, to choose Huawei. This results in increased interest in Chinese products and investments in the economy. Some believe that the US might lift all restrictions altogether, as China’s economic growth is highly unfavorable for them. Time will tell. For now, we await the release of HarmonyOS 2.0.
