The front camera is shifted to the corner. It’s not the most ideal placement, but this solution adds more informativeness to the screen. After just a couple of hours of using the Honor 20, you forget about this cutout altogether.
On the top panel, there is an ambient light sensor and noise suppression system. At the junction between the frame and the display, there is a grille for the earpiece. This is evidenced by the chip working at the level of Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 and 6 GB of RAM. Interestingly, the video adapter in the phone is quite powerful (Mali-G76 MP10). You can confidently dive into resource-intensive games, even at medium quality settings.
Honor 20 Smartphone: Multimedia
There are some flaws. The built-in speakers are very loud but sound terrible in quality. There are issues with low and mid frequencies. However, the sound in the headset is excellent. The contrast is noticeable on any track. The same applies to wireless Bluetooth headphones – sound quality is superb.
Cameras in Honor smartphones have never been problematic. Considering it’s the same Huawei. Photography enthusiasts shooting landscapes during the day will enjoy HDR mode. Nature shots with HDR are flawless. The Honor 20 handles portraits well and does not blur photos in motion. However, night photography disappointed. Shooting handheld, even with correct settings, the phone does not perform well. But if you fix the device firmly and enable automatic shooting mode, the situation improves significantly.
Honor 20 Battery Life and Conclusions
The most pleasant aspect of all Chinese smartphones is their autonomy. The technologically advanced Honor 20 can easily last a couple of days without recharging. Maybe even longer. And this is with automatic brightness, GSM, 4G, and Wi-Fi enabled.
