The German brand Leica has finally unveiled its new product. The Leica SL2 camera is officially presented worldwide. As expected, this is a full-frame mirrorless camera equipped with modern technologies for professional photographers and enthusiasts.

The product turned out to be sizable yet comfortable to handle. The body is designed in a strict style. The Leica SL2 camera is equipped with new and very useful features. The Leica Object Detection AF option, for example, can recognize faces and full-body people. There are many profiles for autofocus (children, sports, animals, nature, etc.). The thoughtfully designed touch screen detects tactile contact. Like in the iPhone 11 Pro, holding a finger on the screen helps change the focus point size.
The menu is well thought out. Or rather, the activation mechanism. A single touch brings up a simple menu for basic settings (ISO, modes, focus). A second tap switches Leica SL2 into fine-tuning mode. The advantages could be listed endlessly. It’s better to see the camera in person and explore all its features firsthand. Germans are meticulous people; everything is designed down to the smallest detail.
