Noctua NM-SD1 and Noctua NM-SD2 Screwdrivers for Enthusiasts
The choice of format is simple. The NM-SD1 model has a Torx (holeless) tip and is suitable for SecuFirm2+ mounts. The NM-SD2 model has a Phillips tip and is designed for SecuFirm and SecuFirm2 mounts.
The screwdrivers are 150 mm long. The tips are magnetized. The handles are plastic, two-component. The plastic is quite soft. The screwdriver fits well in the hand. It is convenient to transfer torque due to the volume of the handle itself.
In design, the Noctua NM-SD1 and NM-SD2 screwdrivers strongly resemble automotive tools from the German company Wera Tools. The design is inspired by “Spider-Man“. However, in terms of quality, they slightly fall short. This is quite expected, as Wera Tools tools cost about 20% more. Considering Noctua’s product prices, they definitely wouldn’t sell themselves at a loss.
