Finally, Samsung has begun to make some progress in releasing new computer equipment to the market. The South Korean brand announced the launch of the Smart Monitor Samsung. Quite an interesting niche of multimedia products, and still open. Essentially, the new product closely resembles Apple’s offerings, but at a lower price.
What is the Smart Monitor Samsung
Consumers are offered to buy three in-demand gadgets in one device:
- Television. It is expected to run Tizen OS. The display with 4K resolution will support HDR. The device will definitely have a wireless Wi-Fi module (5 or 6). Plus, Hulu, Netflix, Apple TV, and YouTube services will work on the TV.
- Monitor. The standard set of digital interfaces HDMI0 (2 ports) will be supplemented with USB 2.0 and USB-C (for connection to a laptop).
- Personal computer. It’s not entirely clear what performance the device will have, but based on the list of supported software, it will be an office PC. The Smart Monitor Samsung has built-in Bluetooth2, used for connecting peripherals like a keyboard and mouse. By the way, the new product supports NFC, so there will be no issues with authorization.
Smart Monitor Samsung: Models and Prices
Solutions with 27 and 32-inch screens are ready for release. The models are marked as follows: 27” – M5, 32” – M7. The classic 27-inch display was expected. It is the most popular format on the market in 2020. It’s only unclear why it uses 4K resolution. The price for the Smart Monitor Samsung M5 with a 27-inch screen is $230. Naturally, this is in the homeland. The 32-inch version is priced at $400.
Such proposals look interesting. If Samsung’s engineers install a quality display and the picture pleases the buyer, then the life of the Smart Monitor Samsung will improve. It remains to wait for the products to be released on the global market to test the device’s efficiency in operation.
