After the release of Asus Flip series tablets and laptops, the Taiwanese brand decided not to stop there. Having pushed some competitors out of the mobile device market, the manufacturer turned to the corporate segment. The new Asus ExpertBook B7 Flip arrived just in time – right before CES 2022. While competitors are presenting prototypes, Asus factories have launched the popular laptop into mass production.

In addition to basic technical specifications, the manufacturer announced parameters for a series of tests the laptop underwent in factory conditions. Specifically, Asus ExpertBook B7 Flip tests are as follows:
- Opening-closing the lid – hinge operation for at least 30,000 cycles.
- Connecting-disconnecting ports – at least 1,715,000 cycles.
- Screen compression when closing the top cover with the body – 28 kg.
- Keyboard durability – up to 1,000,000 presses on each key.
- Dropping from a height of 1200 mm.
- Moisture resistance at 95% at temperatures from +30 to +60 degrees Celsius.
- Temperature variation resistance – from -46 to +50 degrees Celsius.
- Operation in low-oxygen environments – up to 4500 m altitude.

There are not many armored devices in the mobile segment on the global market. The only ones that come to mind are Japanese Panasonic laptops, which have earned respect in the corporate segment. And the new Asus ExpertBook B7 Flip will surely attract such consumers.
After all, the Taiwanese did not skimp on performance and the display, unlike competitors Lenovo, who, by the way, position their new products as a counterpoint to old Panasonic solutions.
A pleasant aspect of all Asus laptops is support for modern technologies. This applies to everything – wireless and wired interfaces, the chip, the display. In 2022, the relevant display is OLED, and you get it. The processor, RAM, and storage are all oriented towards flagship devices. There is only one flaw with the display. Despite high brightness, it appears slightly blurry when viewed from the side. This is due to the protective film, which is better not to remove.
The Asus ExpertBook B7 Flip is powered by an 11th-generation Core i7 processor with integrated Iris X© Graphics. It appeals to the business segment and can handle demanding games, even at high settings. Of course, the laptop’s performance is boosted not only by the processor but also by RAM and storage. However, this gadget is not recommended for gaming.
But the laptop will be more interesting to IT and communications specialists, engineers, designers, and builders. Asus ExpertBook B7 Flip is a versatile 3-in-1 device where the user gets three armored devices simultaneously – a laptop, a regular tablet, and a graphics tablet.
