The playback process is fully automatic and begins when the user presses the “Start” button. The tonearm automatically moves to the record’s lead-in area and lowers the needle into the groove. After playback ends, the automation gently lifts the tonearm and returns it to the stand. Notably, during listening, the automation fully disables and does not affect the playback process. If it is necessary to manually select the starting track, the first step must be done manually.

The A1 player is equipped with an 8.3-inch ultra-light aluminum tonearm with a shell made from carbon fiber-reinforced polymer. This solution ensures simultaneous rigidity and lightness of the construction, as well as excellent internal damping. The tracking force and anti-skate force are pre-adjusted at the factory. It comes with a cartridge Ortofon OM10, which greatly simplifies setup for beginner vinyl enthusiasts, reducing everything to a plug & play concept.

Thoughtful placement of internal mechanisms helps avoid unwanted resonances, as the empty spaces in the chassis are minimized. Additionally, an internal damping ring increases the overall weight of the construction.
