From 2017 to 2020, three seasons of the remarkable science fiction series “Dark” were released on Netflix, filmed in Germany. Engaging plot, acting, and voice-over work demonstrated that Germans know how to make great movies.
Series “Dark” – a must-watch for science fiction enthusiasts
Viewers will not see aliens or space travel on screen. This is good, as in recent years, even lazy producers have been pushing this theme. Perhaps the series “The Expanse” revived these space battles. But producers have begun to forget about time travel and parallel universes.
The plot of the series is built around intertwined families across time, destined to unravel the problem with the Apocalypse. And all would be fine, but there are two external forces interested in the flawless execution of their plan, which operates on a cycle.
The series is interesting, especially the first two seasons. However, the final season was disappointing – from the first to the fourth episode, you might feel like turning off the TV. But we recommend watching until the end, as from episode 5, the characters begin to receive answers to the events of the first two seasons of “Dark”.
And the last episode of the third season might make you want to rewatch it several times. So much valuable information and a wonderful ending – positive emotions are guaranteed for the viewer. No spoilers – watch it, you won’t regret it. For a one-time viewing, the series “Dark” is suitable!
