At the annual BlizzCon 2019 festival hosted by Blizzard Entertainment, the game Diablo IV was announced. Developers presented a trailer with key events and showed fans new gameplay. Diablo IV is designed for PC and gaming consoles: PS4 and Xbox One.
Release dates have not been announced yet, but festival attendees were given the opportunity to try a limited version of the product. The RPG features 3 hero classes: Sorcerer, Barbarian, and Druid. Each character has a specific playstyle and skill set. The Sorcerer (witch) commands the elements (ice, fire, lightning), and can move quickly across the battlefield during combat. The Barbarian (fighter) specializes in melee combat with axes, swords, and maces. The Druid can control the weather and transform into various animals (or summon two wolves).
Diablo IV Game: Details
The style of the game somewhat resembles Diablo 2. Locations are depicted in dark and gloomy tones. Caves, crypts, swamps, wastelands, and mountains of corpses. Compared to Diablo 3, locations are much larger, and the design is even more sinister.
Diablo IV has received an 18+ rating.
This is due to realistic damage animations and blood splashes. Contextual interaction with the environment has been introduced. Heroes can now ride horses or wild animals (horses and wild animals – literal translation from the announcement).
The developer added MMO and PvP modes. Players can form groups and defeat bosses or fight each other. Nothing has been said about loot in PvP, but the developer announced the creation of hub cities. In these locations, players can trade items and auction items. For single-player enthusiasts, there is a separate Solo mode.
Diablo IV borrowed the algorithm of randomly generated dungeons from Diablo 3. Effects of runes can be applied to weapons and armor, similar to Diablo 2 RPG. As a result, Diablo IV combines the best features of previous parts and introduces new “features”.
Players will be pleased with the minimal system requirements. Diablo 4 is compatible with Win 10-64, Win 7, and Win 8. Hardware-wise, there should be no issues – Intel Core 2 Duo or Athlon 64 X2.
