Elon Musk Launches Tesla Roadster into Space
From the Kennedy Space Center in Florida, a Falcon Heavy rocket was launched. On board was Elon Musk’s personal car – the Tesla Roadster. The SpaceX mission was successful. Now, along with the planets, another object orbits the Sun – a cherry Tesla Roadster with a full-scale human figure at the wheel.
According to the American billionaire’s plan, David Bowie’s “Space Oddity” plays in the car. Inside the Roadster, there is a book “The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy” by Douglas Adams, a towel, and a plaque with the words “Don’t Panic”.
While one half of the planet considers Elon Musk reckless, the other part of Earth is already planning space exploration. The launch of the reusable Falcon Heavy rocket opens new horizons. It aims to reduce costs for commercial space flights. With 21st-century technologies, humanity has a chance to explore the planets of the Solar System and reach galactic levels.
The remaining challenge is the speed of movement in space, as travel to neighboring planets will take time. Japan, China, and Russia are also working on space exploration issues alongside the USA.
