What makes Google’s mobile technology interesting is its innovations. People are working tirelessly to invent more beautiful and advanced gadgets. The new Google Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro cannot go unnoticed. These are completely new and quite interesting smartphones. It’s great that the company has talented designers capable of not copying others but creating something new.
Google Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro – First News
The Verge editor Dieter Bohn visited Google’s office and shared his impressions of the new Google Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro. There is little information, but enough to give competitors something to think about. This flagship will have an accessible price in its niche (above $1000). Metal body, quality assembly, and unique design.
The camera module is well-designed, which previously could only be seen on feature phones. The implementation is interesting. Also, the optics and camera sizes are intriguing. What’s hidden inside is unclear, but it will definitely be a camera phone with an enlarged sensor.
It is very pleasing that Google is keeping up with market innovations and, following the trend, has equipped the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro with a 120 Hz display. However, this applies only to the PRO version with a 6.7-inch diagonal. The basic model will have a 6.4-inch screen and a 90 Hz refresh rate.
As expected, the fingerprint scanner is embedded under the screen surface. This is convenient. The response time is much more accurate and efficient than a scanner on the power button. The manufacturer does not offer many color options – just 3 colors, similar to iPhone PRO and MAX.
A pleasant aspect is the system performance. Google decided not to use the Snapdragon 888+ but to equip the smartphone with its own SoC Tensor chip. It is manufactured by Samsung using 5nm technology and promises to be very powerful. The official announcement of the Google Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro models is scheduled for fall 2021 (October).
An interesting autumn awaits us – new Apple products, Intel, Google. Looking forward to the timing.
