Initially, the manufacturer aimed to conquer elderly users who struggle with modern touchscreen gadgets. However, no one expected that the Nokia 2720 Flip would attract people of all ages. Schoolchildren, construction workers, drivers, doctors, retirees – the phones are simply swept off store shelves. This is truly strange. Who and for what purpose needs a phone with limited capabilities?
The Nokia 2720 Flip has two large displays. The main (inner) display measures 2.8 inches, and the secondary (outer) display is 1.3 inches. It is based on the Qualcomm 205 chip. The device has 512 MB of RAM and 4 GB of storage. If more memory is needed, storage can be expanded with cards. The display is color QVGA. There is a 2 MP camera.
The device works on Wi-Fi and 4G networks. It supports Bluetooth version 4.1. It features a flashlight, GPS navigation, and even a 3.5 mm headphone jack. Like in grandma phones, there is an SOS button for dialing one number from the contacts.
And now, the most interesting part. Drum roll. In standby mode (when Wi-Fi and 4G are turned off), the phone will last a whole month. Yes, 30 days and nights. Additionally, the phone’s battery is removable. And this marvel of technology costs only $100 in the 21st century.
