Initially Telegram – now simply Gram, as Pavel Durov, the creator of the popular social network VKontakte, announced to the public about the creation of a new cryptocurrency. The information was received from a former employee of the social network, Anton Rosenberg.
Pavel Durov: New Cryptocurrency Gram
As noted by Durov’s former colleague, the owner of the messenger “Telegram” decided to provide the countries of the Rising Sun with another payment system. The project has been given a formidable name TON (not to be confused with TOR), which stands for Telegram Open Network.
Financial experts positively assessed Durov’s venture into the digital currency market, as the Telegram project is considered unprofitable and the owner urgently needs to breathe new life into the social project. However, not everything is smooth. Due to American sanctions, international payment systems are not functioning correctly. Influential and wealthy individuals will need to be involved, and Durov has decided to seek them in Iran.
The outcome of this new alliance remains unknown, but experts are confident that the rapprochement between Russian businessmen and Asian countries is the right decision. We just need to wait for the implementation of the project to introduce the new cryptocurrency Gram.
