Action movies and comedies have become quite tiresome for viewers. At least, that’s what English director Andy Goddard believes. However, the theme of World War II still appeals to audiences. Films about the war are positively received by all generations.
Six Minutes to Midnight
The plot of the film is built around the relationship between the local population of England and the Nazis. An elite school teacher is suspected of collusion with the occupiers and accused of aiding them. The point is that the teacher is from an Anglo-German family, so it’s easy to get branded as a “spy.” The teacher, trying to save his own life, goes on the run. The school principal will have to figure everything out and clear the teacher’s good name from false accusations.
The cast will delight viewers.
In the film, 69-year-old British actor Jim Broadbent will star, known to viewers from the film “Moulin Rouge” as Harold Zidler. The actor is famous in Europe. His face has appeared in over a hundred films. Jim Broadbent even appeared in the series “Game of Thrones” (Season 7, as Archimester Ebrose).
83-year-old actress Judi Dench is remembered by “Bond” fans. In one of the James Bond films, she played the head of the British intelligence agency with the codename “M.”
56-year-old actor Eddie Izzard, who played Bailey in “The Avengers,” will also appear in the film “Six Minutes to Midnight.”
