By the way, the technology itself is initially attributed to US engineers. Russia also did not stay aside. According to a US intelligence report, Russians managed to build a super-cannon mounted on a railway car. However, strict dependence on the electrical network put an end to further research.

In China, the weapon seriously interested the military, who decided to equip all their Navy ships with it by the end of 2025. It’s not hard to guess that the mobility of the weapon is enhanced by a nuclear reactor installed on the ship, capable of quickly charging the railgun.

Regarding costs, the price of one shot for the Chinese is approximately $25,000-30,000. Considering the destruction of military ships and ground targets with 100% accuracy, such expenses are considered negligible.

It remains only to understand how the Chinese plan to use the coolest weapon on the planet. The question is more rhetorical. After all, neighboring three nuclear powers at sea, the Chinese are simply concerned about their security. With superweapons, the PRC has a better chance of survival – that’s a fact.
