Building his own world in the mountains and securely hiding it from outsiders, Galt set out to stop the world’s engine. Talented scientists, inventors, industrialists, and successful businessmen, after Galt’s persuasion, left their businesses and hurried to an artificially created paradise. The absence of intellectuals at workplaces triggered millions of destructive processes for the economy. The question “Who is John Galt” began to be heard from all city residents, who started to suspect sabotage against the government.

The novel is easy to read in print and also simple to perceive in audio format. There are issues with the film Atlas Shrugged. The thing is, the film was released in three parts with short time gaps. The director initially shot two parts with the same cast. Then he created the third part, changing the actors. It is quite challenging to get used to the new characters after familiarizing oneself with the original images in the first two parts.
