Once again, giants of the IT industry are making the same mistakes by informing consumers about methods to improve the performance of their sold equipment. This time, the focus of legal proceedings is the iPhone smartphone.
Apple Inc. created its own problems
In an effort to extend battery life, developers intentionally reduced the performance of the 6th and 7th generation phones, which they proudly announced to the public. However, consumers reacted negatively to this move, as most users purchase devices for their enhanced performance, which competitors in the business niche do not demonstrate.
Currently, lawsuits have been filed in the USA, but experts predict the emergence of new administrative claims in Asia and Europe, as the grounds for accusations exist. There is a high likelihood that smartphone owners will receive compensation. Personal and collective claims have been recorded. Plaintiffs accuse the defendant of unfair business practices and demand financial compensation for moral damages. It is expected that soon, Americans will flock to court with claims against Apple Inc.
We can only wish Apple Inc. good luck, as the US judicial system often sides with American citizens and obliges IT giants to pay multi-million dollar fines.
