British police will be allowed to capture drones

With the advent of unmanned aerial vehicles, the concept of "Personal life" has remained in the past. After all, any owner of a quadrocopter equipped with an overhead camera can invade the personal life of even the Queen of England herself. Perhaps this is precisely the assumption that served as the beginning for the introduction of tightening in the UK for the purchase of drones. As you know, in a developed European country, the acquisition of UAVs requires mandatory registration and management training.

However, this was not enough, since the owners of the drones are no longer enough to invade the British privacy. Users are interested in the secrets of Buckingham Palace and government secrets. That is why a new bill has entered the country's parliament, which regulates the actions of police in relation to unmanned aerial vehicles.

To be frank, the law simply extends the cops' powers and permits, at its sole discretion, to knock down or intercept control of drones. The bill provides for a partial or full confiscation of UAVs, which is described in the explanatory note as collecting evidence for an existing violation.

As practice shows, England is not the discoverer of such a law on drones. In the US, a law has long existed on the elimination of drones over prisons, office buildings and military facilities. The confiscation of the remains of a downed apparatus increases the evidence base in court when bringing charges or considering complaints from the owners.

It is planned that the law in England will be adopted by the beginning of the 2018 year.
