Strange thing, Huawei under US sanctions, but ordinary consumers suffer from this. We studied the prices for modern and advanced mobile devices of the Chinese brand. And found that only in Asia and Russia can you buy any gadget cheaply. And the upcoming Huawei MatePad Pro Pad OS – a mega 13-inch tablet. The very one that Chinese people have been talking about tirelessly since September 2020. And very eager to get it at a good price. Because in terms of technical specifications and price, it outperforms Apple products.

To be honest, we initially approached HarmonyOS 2.0 with caution. Who knew that in just a couple of months, developers would fully replicate all Android games and apps on Huawei gadgets. Paid ones are cheaper, work without errors, and there are no ads. It’s even a bit scary how good everything looks. And then there’s Huawei MatePad Pro 5G:
- 12.9-inch OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate.
- Powerful Kirin 9000 chip, 12 GB RAM, and 512/1024 GB storage.
- 5G modem and Wi-Fi 6 – this is standard, no need to discuss further.
And the most important point – the price of Huawei MatePad Pro Pad OS will be lower than Apple products. We haven’t yet moved on from the capabilities of the MatePad Pro 8/512GB LTE. With the Kirin 990 processor, it’s very impressive. But it clearly lacked a larger screen diagonal.
It remains to wait for the new product to appear on the market in China. And we will try to order it from Chinese online stores. Not everyone is as lucky with the Huawei brand as Russians, who already have over 100 official representatives across the country. Maybe the new US president will somehow resolve the sanctions issues. Well, I really don’t want to overpay for a gadget by 50% of its cost.
