A posthumous bronze mask, taken from the face and hands of Joseph Stalin, was found in the attic of a British man’s house. The Brit claims that the mold belonged to his deceased grandfather, and the history of the bronze item is unknown to the owner.

Dan Ponder, an auctioneer, admitted to media reporters that he was quite puzzled by the lot. After all, a similar mask of the communist leader had already been auctioned and found a buyer who paid 6 thousand US dollars for the lot. Notably, the second mask was sold for 17,300$. The name of the buyer is not disclosed by the media. But apparently, this citizen is a fervent fan of Joseph Stalin. Otherwise, it is unclear why he would need a bronze mask at such a price.
