Lenovo Yoga 7000 – 8K Support Projector

Lenovo has decided to expand the projector market with its devices. This segment remains controversial for manufacturers. Achieving perfect image quality like on OLED TVs is still impossible. And projector prices are significantly higher. This raises doubts about purchasing a device for household use.

Lenovo Yoga 7000 Projector – Budget-Friendly Model

It cannot be said that the new product stands out as something unique. Classic specifications, similar to most Chinese equipment. The only difference is that Lenovo has worked on the compactness and design of the projector. Special thanks to the engineers for that. The manufacturer claims:

  • Support for content in 8K resolution. It has a decoder capable of processing such data volume.
  • The peak brightness is declared to be as high as 2400 ANSI Lumens. The interesting aspect here is not the peak brightness but the optimal brightness. It can be ten times lower. By the way, the manufacturer does not specify the optimal brightness anywhere.
  • Light source – a 4-lamp LED module.
  • Built-in acoustics. Stereo speakers with 10-watt magnets on rubidium. Clearly, 10 W is the peak power (PMPO). In reality (RMS), it is 1 W.
  • Auto-focus is managed by a laser guidance system. This is a big plus for the Lenovo Yoga 7000 projector. The equipment can be installed anywhere. The technology will automatically adjust scale, angles, and sharpness.
  • The only video source connection system declared is Bluetooth. It is not entirely clear how 8K data transfer will be implemented. A channel of at least half a gigabit per second is needed. This is already the Wi-Fi 5 standard.
