Information has leaked to the media that NASA experts have lost control over artificial intelligence. According to scientists speaking at the NIPS conference, it has become clear that AI is living its own life and does not intend to conform to the accepted laws.

Experts who studied the behavior of artificial intelligence in solving complex problems, where electronics were required to make decisions, discovered a breach in the system. The logic of AI is incomprehensible and is perceived by humans as a malfunction, which could later lead to the destruction of expensive equipment or the endangerment of astronauts’ lives.

The head of the artificial intelligence research project at Google, Metr Parsi, proposed to exclude AI from the space program and thoroughly study the principles of electronics operation. “If necessary – it’s better to start from scratch rather than send people to certain death in space at the mercy of AI,” concluded the globally recognized expert.

The work of artificial intelligence resembles a “broken telephone” to scientists, where electronics are endowed with certain knowledge and asked to pass information further. However, AI processes data and reproduces it in its own way. Experts are concerned about such behavior of the “iron” and recommend a sensible approach to integrating AI into NASA programs. No one wants to end up with a doomsday scenario, vividly depicted in the science fiction film “Terminator.”
