A pleasant moment for Nokia brand fans. The company has launched the “armored” Nokia XR20 with IP68 protection for sale. The manufacturer guarantees that in terms of protection, the new device will not be inferior to the legendary Nokia 5500 Sport. Those who remember, know what kind of “beast” that was and how cool it was in its time.
What can I say, some users still have it somewhere in a drawer, fully functional. Even our admin apparently has this miracle, which he is very proud of. As seen in the photo, the rubber keyboard was replaced and a plug was torn out. But the device is several years old, yet it still works and has no plans to retire.
Nokia XR20 with IP68 protection – long live the king!
Once again, Nokia decided not to chase performance. Instead, they equipped the XR20 smartphone with a full set of in-demand features. All of this is enclosed in a rugged shell. Briefly, the technical specifications of Nokia XR20 are as follows:

Among the features of the Nokia XR20 smartphone is the ability to work with a wet screen. The sensor responds well not only to wet fingers but can also operate underwater. Another advantage is the presence of a programmable button on the device’s body. This feature was present on the 5500 Sport, which was configured for a flashlight or a player.
The Nokia smartphone turned out to be simply excellent. It has many direct competitors, but they all do not fit into the $600 budget. There were decent solutions from LG, but the Koreans asked a fantastic amount for them. There was also the Blackview BV6800 Pro, review which we did two years ago, but it has become outdated.
Undoubtedly, active lifestyle enthusiasts or those working in harsh conditions will not pass by such an interesting “armored” device. Nokia XR20 is a modern and technically advanced smartphone. Moreover, it is quite compact and even supports wireless charging. You can confidently take such a device for 5-6 years ahead. After all, Nokia is a brand you can trust.
