The column is made of durable and pleasant to the touch plastic. There are rubber elements on the protective casings of the speakers and a slot for a wired connection. There is a customizable LED backlight. The column can be controlled manually or through the application (iOS or Android).
The claimed 2.1 system sounds very good. Separately, there is a subwoofer (at the end of the speaker), the phase inverter of which goes to the other end of the device. The low-frequency speakers are installed symmetrically, they produce sound to the sides, they are located in the region of the phase inverter. Even at maximum sound, there are no pickups, but there are dips in frequencies.
The best sound quality, at maximum volume, can be achieved with a power of no more than 80%. Which is already good. Claimed 30 watts of power. This is clearly PMPO - that is, the maximum. If we go to the RMS standard, then this is 3 watts. In fact, in quality, the speaker sounds decent, like Hi-Fi acoustics 5-8 watts. And with a clear separation of high, medium and low frequencies.
The TRONSMART T7 speaker is controlled by an application for iOS or Android. Although, you can connect the device with a smartphone via Bluetooth and everything will work fine. For complete happiness, there is not enough AUX input. This would give a greater effect in terms of autonomy. I am glad that the manufacturer has installed a modern Bluetooth module version 5.3. While maintaining the quality, the column receives a signal at a distance of up to 18 meters from the source, in line of sight. If indoors, the signal passes perfectly through 2 main walls at a distance of up to 9 meters.
Another advantage is the combination of TRONSMART T7 speakers into a multimedia system. The manufacturer declares the possibility of building a stereo system. In fact, you can do something more with just a few columns. But it requires an app to work, otherwise all speakers will play their own way.
I would like the possibility of synchronization with portable speakers from other brands. This functionality is not available. Our beloved JBL Charge 4 failed to connect to the TRONSMART T7 pool. Incidentally, compared to JBL Charge 4, the new TRONSMART is inferior in sound quality. Apparently, JBL uses better speakers. And that's for a 2.0 system that doesn't have a dedicated subwoofer.
