Samsung’s Frame Smart series TVs are not new to consumers. However, previous models were based on IPS and MVA technologies. Now, the brand offers a TV with a QLED matrix. And this is a completely different device.
Thanks to modern technologies, the manufacturer managed to reduce the thickness of the TV to the size of an ordinary picture. The display quality has significantly improved. Now, it is impossible to distinguish the TV from a piece of art at first glance.
Samsung Frame Series Smart TVs
In general, turning technology into a visual picture with its own image is not Samsung’s original idea. The first to introduce such an idea to the market was LG, releasing the A09 series air conditioner. The bulky design, costing 1500 US dollars, took some customers away from manufacturers of expensive home air conditioners. But interest in the product remained low, and the company discontinued production.
Thanks to the slimness of LCD TVs, Samsung’s engineers attempted to tame people into art. And again, a failure. The color reproduction of older matrix types (IPS or MVA) was insufficient to convey the realism of the image. The advertising was successful – sales were not. But the manufacturer did not cease production; instead, they retooled the lines to assemble the Frame Smart series TVs with QLED displays. And the result was not long in coming.
Having all the sought-after technical characteristics, Samsung’s Frame Smart series TVs have become the best purchase for various companies and entertainment centers. Buying a picture TV with a QLED matrix is considered fashionable and prestigious. From the exterior design of an apartment, office, or studio to the unmatched quality of the image. It is impossible to distinguish the picture on the screen from the original.
It remains to hope that other brands will also start producing such TVs. Without competitors on the market, Samsung has set sky-high prices for its devices. Not every buyer can afford such a luxury.
