The prefix attracted attention with its ability to issue a picture in 8K format. True, at 24 frames per second. But this is enough for the normal reproduction of high-definition films. Naturally, you need an appropriate TV or projector with 8K resolution.

SZBOX manufacturer’s urges regarding the design of the console are not entirely clear. The appearance of the device, IMHO, is even embarrassing. The pearl-blue tint of the upper panel of the case does not look serious. And there are questions regarding ergonomics. There was a place for an unnecessary digital display, and a USB port is squeezed in the middle of one of the rounded corners of the console. But this is the only negative that had to be encountered in the review.
Oh nice. The HK1 BOX S905X3 has all the existing video and audio decoders on board. And in addition, the user has Root rights to control the TV box. This approach is always welcomed by owners who love to experiment with settings.
The case of the console in a “juicy” color resembles a closed pearl. Naturally, questions arose immediately regarding cooling. There is a radiator grill from below, but there are no slots on the side faces. In the trotting tests, drops were noticed, but the indicators are insignificant even with long runs of resource-intensive tests. In games and in work, the prefix will not lie down.
The shell has the same interface in pearl tones as the console itself. But this is quickly fixed by installing the launcher. The control panel is nice. The design is minimalistic, but not annoying. The setup menu is made at the level of expensive TV boxes. Out of the box, many useful applications have already been installed. I am glad that the console is focused on support - there is a customizable update menu.
Special attention in TV Boxing HK1 BOX S905X3 deserves network capabilities. For the budget class of consoles - this is nonsense. The 5 GHz Wi-Fi module for upload gives 258 Mbit and 205 for upload. For 2,4 GHz - 37/27 Mbps. The most surprising thing is the operation of the wired LAN interface - 850 for loading and 720 for unloading. I even had to conduct a couple of tests to make sure of such results.
I was pleased with the speed of data transfer via USB ports. The manufacturer was not greedy for technology and provided devices with a modern chip. On average, the read speed from the HDD is 70 megabytes per second (560 megabytes). Given that the bitrate of 4K movies is several times lower, the console’s performance is impressive.
In conclusion
With video playback, IPTV and games there were no problems. TV Boxing HK1 BOX S905X3 warms up to 69 degrees Celsius, but there were no friezes. The prefix from the budget class is suitable for any tasks of users. If the manufacturer “completes” the design, makes a normal cooling system and deals with the placement of interfaces, then the updated device will eclipse itself and more expensive TV boxes.
