The University of Queensland has undertaken a study of relationships between men and women. “Why do men and women cheat” – asked the scholars. The answer was not surprising. After all, in the 20th century, psychologists proved that people with a larger number of sexual partners are more prone to infidelity in relationships.
Impulsive people are more likely to engage in contacts with the opposite sex, even when already married.
Why Men and Women Cheat: Causes
Relationships between men and women are unique. Therefore, scientists cannot derive a formula for love. However, there is a chance to find a pattern. For example, impulsive people do not know how to control their thoughts and easily adapt to situations. Creating conditions for contact, such people are easier to lead away from their families.
Weak satisfaction in the family and extensive sexual experience before marriage play a trick on the partner. Refusal of sexual intimacy at home forces a loving partner to seek joy elsewhere.
Men and women cheat more often between the ages of 35-45.
“People do not change… They only temporarily play the role needed for their interests” – says folk wisdom. When infidelity is discovered in a family, scholars recommend rushing to a psychologist and amicably resolving the situation. According to statistics, only 5% of families voluntarily divorce. The rest live in mutual distrust for the rest of their lives.
