For fans of action/RPG games, a new project called Biomutant has been created. The developers focused on an open world, giving players an unlimited field for actions. In fact, there are still some restrictions. Experiment 101 studio clarified that the land area of the location is limited to sixteen square kilometers, plus underground locations are created for players, the dimensions of which are not specified by the developer.
However, for unrestricted travel, players will need transportation and equipment, which can only be obtained by completing certain missions that are tied to the game’s plot. For example, it will not be possible to pass through swampy areas without electronics, or climb a steep mountain cliff without an air balloon. One should not forget about weather conditions and terrain features, which require appropriate gear.
The game’s plot includes a mechanism for adapting the environment based on the player’s decisions. Every action makes changes to the gameplay, which is rebuilt accordingly. The release of Biomutant is scheduled for the first quarter of 2018, so it’s not long to wait. The developer announced that the game will be compatible with platforms: PC, PS4, and Xbox.
