Cruel games are an American film about members of the so-called “golden youth” of New York City, united by their cynicism towards others. Trying to demonstrate their own superiority, teenagers harm those around them and cause pain to loved ones.
2018 showed the world that cruel games are in fashion among children. Bullying peers has become commonplace. Instead of resolving conflicts and addressing issues, teenagers resort to personal attacks and showcase their egos to others.

In Los Angeles (USA), a mass poisoning occurred in a school cafeteria. A potent drug was introduced into the students’ food, causing immediate poisoning. Continuous vomiting and diarrhea among children became a reason for mockery among peers, who instead of helping, filmed the incident on their phones.
Vomiting and hallucinations—on September 12, 2018, 250 students from School 62 in Dnipro (Ukraine) sought medical help with such symptoms. The school principal stated that 1,000 children eat daily in the cafeteria, so the issue of spoiled products was dismissed. The solution to the problem needed to be approached differently—this was hinted at by the principal, suggesting deliberate poisoning of students.
Cases of mass poisoning of children were also reported in Mykolaiv and Zhytomyr. The issue was hushed up at the school level, preventing information from reaching the media. However, parents raised concerns on social networks about deliberate poisoning by peers. Due to a lack of evidence, the issue remains unresolved.
