When purchasing new clothing at a brand store, customers do not always pay attention to the labels sewn into the lining by the manufacturer. It might seem that the brand cares about people by informing them about storage, washing, or ironing conditions. However, a study of clothing from many European and American brands shows that things are not so simple. When inspecting the inside of a jacket, pants, down jacket, or shirt, an interesting label made of very dense material can be found. This is an RFID chip, and possibly a GPS in new clothing.
You heard correctly – a microchip operating on global positioning system (GPS) technology. Notably, when closely examining the label, the buyer will find inscriptions and drawings that describe the device in detail. An obligatory attribute here is an 11-12 digit number on a separate tag. In regular RFID chips designed to prevent shop theft, GPS is unlikely. But a symbol in the form of a cube with the letters EPC and a Wi-Fi logo is a full-fledged GPS chip.

Let’s look further. A plus sign on the label with the navigator indicates the location of the chip itself. The presence of rectangles made of ultra-thin metal around the chip suggests it is a complete microcircuit with feedback. The chip can both send and receive information. Additionally, the tag may feature a strange barcode with unclear inscriptions – its purpose is not entirely understood.
Of course, questions arise – what is the purpose of a GPS chip with feedback? On European forums, experts assert that this is about active marketing. The manufacturer wants to know where the product is sent and where the end consumer lives. By focusing on the buyer, the clothing manufacturer simply promotes their own products.
In the post-Soviet countries, people are not easily deceived. Electrical engineering experts confidently state that metal frames are real weapons. There are dozens of videos online demonstrating the action of feedback chips. A command is sent to the chip, provoking the appearance of an electromagnetic field within a radius of 3-5 centimeters. It might seem trivial, but tags with chips are located at waist or chest level. This is already a threat to citizens’ health. Sexual dysfunction, heart arrhythmia – many variants exist. Hopefully, Slavs are just exaggerating, otherwise the conclusion is not reassuring.
