The constant rise in price of electricity hits the budget of the population. But the problem does not end there. It turned out that the energy consumption also increased sharply - the meter shakes a lot. Moreover, it’s not just charging 10-20 kilowatts per month, but the expense is doubled. It's time to sound the alarm.

 

To begin with, the devices themselves - counters, are electronic and induction. The state decided to exchange induction coils installed in old equipment for new ones - electronic meters. The reason is simple - when the current consumption of electrical appliances is less than 1 Ampere, there was weak electromagnetic induction. That is, when a weak current moves in a magnetic field, the meter did not take into account the energy consumption. Or there were errors in favor of the user at 5-50%.

Electronic meters lack such a disadvantage. In addition, electronics takes into account active and reactive currents. Electricity consumed and delivered to the network - if that is easier. Here the consumer has solar panels with which he is trying to reduce the consumption of light from the network. But, alas, there will be no savings - since the electronic meter measures the electricity going in both directions.

The new electronic meters, which the state installs for free instead of induction equipment, are initially set up to steal electricity. Any electrician from a commercial organization can easily demonstrate on the spot how cheating occurs. However, no organization will give written confirmation that the state meter is defective. An alternative is to buy a special device that can count the consumed electricity in Watts and conduct an experiment with a heating device, disconnecting the rest of the equipment in the house.

 

The most effective way to restore justice is to buy a new and tested device in a specialized store. It doesn’t matter who the manufacturer is. The a priori store is interested in selling work equipment. The decision is expensive, but the electricity consumption will be taken into account correctly.

 

The fight against theft of electricity by the population

 

With the rise in price of electricity, given that the meter shakes a lot in the winter, consumers resort to fraud. The operation of the meter installed in a private house or apartment is blocked by turning off the zero. That is, the phase is fed to the counter, and the neutral wire is taken to a separate unit. A cable from a lightning rod is connected to the same unit, for example. And the cable from the unit returns to the output panel of the counter. When checking from the corresponding services, the switch on the block changes the zero wire.

The trick is easy to reveal, only the testers themselves are not able to think of this, or there is simply no command from above. If on the way to the meter disconnect the neutral wire, then logically, all electrical appliances in the house or apartment should turn off. If this does not happen, then the consumer is stealing electricity. In the dark, you can remove the zero cable on the electrical support and on the whole street, seeing the light in the window and hearing the sound of the working TVs, you can safely draw up acts of theft of electricity. For an apartment building, the situation is easily repeated.
