Someone at Adidas is slowly but surely losing their mind. Otherwise, how can one explain the creation of the Mr. Bailey x Adidas Superstar sneakers. The manufacturer of cool shoes decided to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Superstar model. A well-known English artist, Daniel Bailey (pseudonym Mr. Bailey), was involved in the project.
Mr. Bailey x Adidas Superstar – a light mental fog
The idea was inspired by ancient extinct cephalopods, ammonites. The sneakers’ sole completely mimics the structure of a mollusk shell. The toe of the shoe is ridged and also made of rubber. The upper is made of regular nylon, which can be attached with Velcro. For tightening, a standard lacing system is used.
The appearance is interesting. You could even say unusual, and because of that, very attractive. The Mr. Bailey x Adidas Superstar model looks great from all angles and can even be painted in different colors. The only problem is that the sneakers were released as a one-of-a-kind piece. The manufacturer has not yet decided whether to display these miracle sneakers in a museum or in their office.
And the model is interesting. After releasing a small batch to the market, Adidas could make good money by adding an extra zero to the price. Fans of the brand around the world dream of exclusivity. Very strange things are happening at the number one sports shoe company. And yet, they could be making cool and sellable sneakers.
