In the initial version, the Nissan Qashqai was equipped with a six-cylinder engine with twin turbos. Yes, like on the supercar Nissan GT-R. The engine capacity was even increased from 3.8 to 4.1 liters. To boost the vehicle’s power, Nissan Qashqai was fitted with new turbos, a racing injector, and a steel exhaust system. It is also known that the fuel pump was borrowed from the Bugatti Veyron.
According to testers, the increase in power was achieved solely through turbos. Accordingly, the interest of buyers eager to get a “charged” Nissan Qashqai is focused on models with upgraded compressors.
