The Danish brand VOXX, which acquired the Sharp trademark for its own needs, decided to launch 4K TVs under the same name on the market. And the decision would have gone unnoticed if it were not for the declared technical characteristics of the devices.

In pursuit of the lowest price, 4K TV manufacturers turn a blind eye to picture and sound quality. After all, the screen resolution is important for most users. And only in the process of operation, after a while, the consumer understands what advantages he has lost.

This is not the case with Sharp TVs. Price is not a priority here. By the way, it is not as transcendental as it seems. Samsung level 7 series ($ 800-1000). Feature 4K TVs in full support for HDR10 and HLG. And yet, there are codecs for sound reproduction in Dolby Vision, DTS and Dolby Atmos quality.

 

All this is complemented by the Android TV operating system and Google Assistant voice control. Nothing is stripped down and works great out of the box. And yet, the TVs themselves have a narrow frame around the perimeter of the matrix. As a result, the 65-inch panel doesn't take up as much space as it seems.

Sharp 4K TVs have the makings of pushing Korean competitors, not to mention Chinese brands, in the market. Take, for example, the proprietary technology Active Motion 600, which is able to control the transmission of high-definition images in dynamic scenes. So far, TVs are only available for purchase in England. But if there is demand, then the technique will quickly spread throughout the world.
