US sanctions against Xiaomi

The beginning of 2021 turned out to be less rosy for the Xiaomi brand. The Americans suspected the Chinese company in connection with the military. The US sanctions against Xiaomi completely repeat the history of the Huawei brand. Someone said, somewhere they thought, there is zero proof, but it must be banned just in case.

According to the American side, the bans for Xiaomi are very different from those of Huawei. The Chinese brand is allowed to cooperate with American companies. But, US investors were banned from investing in Xiaomi's production facilities. And yet, the Americans were obliged to get rid of Xiaomi shares before November 11, 2021.

In words, this all looks great, only we see the same snowball that the Chinese communications manufacturer Huawei has experienced. After all, there is still not a single proof that the Chinese conducted intelligence operations against the United States and Europe.

 

What to expect Xiaomi from US sanctions

 

It is already better to reorient all of our production to the domestic market. Huawei did not manage to do this. Having someone else's experience, it will be easier for Xiaomi to do everything. Definitely, the US sanctions against Xiaomi will lead the manufacturer to the loss of the American market. This is a very serious financial blow. But not everything is as bad as it looks. For example, Huawei, in difficult times for itself, found other, more interesting markets. And the decline in the price of equipment contributed to the growth in demand for goods.

And the Xiaomi brand has a great chance to change the "battlefield". Technologically advanced brand, affordability, recognition. Xiaomi has a great base for a fresh start. It doesn't take a genius to realize that the US is deliberately undermining China's IT industry. Only the short-sighted leadership in Washington does not understand that the Chinese are true patriots. Chinese residents will give up American cars, clothing, shoes, food, technology and electronics. And here it is no longer known whose economy will collapse first.
