To locate the smartphone or other gadget for charging, a special scanner is installed.
A receiver block is installed in the smartphone or other device. It contains 14 antennas that capture the waves, and a converter capable of transforming microwaves into electrical energy. The charging power is currently at 5 Watts, but Xiaomi is already working on increasing this figure.

The Chinese brand Xiaomi hurried to tell the world that they have no competitors. Just a few hours after the presentation, Motorola released a video demonstrating their own wireless charging device. And it was fully functional, not just virtual.
