The car registration service in Ukraine has become transparent. This was announced by the country’s Ministry of Internal Affairs. A special service has been created, providing information on vehicle registration broken down by region and car brand.

On social media, users complain about the lack of information, claiming that tracking registrations by brand and region is not interesting. However, Ukrainian market experts have positively evaluated the innovation.

The innovation allows entrepreneurs to better understand the needs of Ukrainian car owners. Knowing the number of brands or models in a region makes it easier to place orders and stockpile parts.
For those who are unclear – the car registration service in Ukraine clearly indicates which region predominantly has certain car models. For example, in the Zaporizhzhia region, there are more VAZ and ZAZ representatives than in Zakarpattia. Why invest in spare parts for BMW if the southern region mainly drives Lanos and Priora? And in Odessa, owners prefer Mercedes brands – so the focus is on parts for German cars.
It is hoped that the Ukrainian Ministry of Internal Affairs will not disclose owners’ information, as this would violate the Constitution. It is possible that a filter with detailed information down to the village or city level will appear on the site, as regional data can be vague.
