The Chinese continue to surprise – every basement manufacturer simply must present their TV box solution to the market. But so far, overtaking the leaders in this area is not so easy. The latest creation (HAANCEEN H30 Android 10 TV Box) caught attention with its price. The manufacturer asks as much as $50. Naturally, there was interest in testing the box. And with Android 10.

Immediately, the chipset name on which this “wonderful” device is built caught the eye. We already mentioned that Rockchip is a real iron that can heat up to 100 degrees Celsius without proper cooling. But more on that later.
Review of the HAANCEEN H30, impressions
The appearance of the TV box is quite decent. An interesting design, vaguely resembling a shell. Plus, the device has all interfaces for connecting to audio systems and the internet, as well as ports for external devices. But, as it turned out, all interfaces are complete fiction. Nothing works properly due to the infamous Rockchip RK3318.
The standard menu, all settings. Even a reasonably working Android 10. But all the positivity ends when trying to run something on the device. The HAANCEEN H30 TV box freezes literally at every button press on the remote. Installing the VLC player turned into hell. Clearly, something is wrong with the device. A full reset and testing for throttling revealed everything. It took only 5 minutes for the chip to heat up to 101 degrees Celsius, and the frequencies of the Cortex-A53 cores dropped to 200 MHz.
Notably, the device has good network modules. The wired interface honestly shows 100 Megabits per second, and Wi-Fi 5Gz delivers as much as 170 Mbps. But the disappointment was with the USB ports. They operate at the same speed with the Samsung EVO 860 Pro SSD. They do not even provide SATA 2 characteristics. The device also lacks the claimed HDR 10. 4K videos (60 GB) lag, and YouTube also experienced drops in Full HD. Clearly, the HAANCEEN H30 device is not worth even half of its claimed price. And there is no point in buying it at all. It’s an insult to the buyer.
